DARKWAR POOL ATARI 4.6.2022

This is a game for ATARI ST mono emulators. It is made with GFA-BASIC
and GBE. It is not tested on a real machine and it is possible, that
it can't be run on it. You can try to run DWPATARI.PRG or DWPATARI.GFA
in a GFA BASIC interpreter. DWPATARI.PRG runs with the emulator hatari
1.8.0 and its built-in EmuTOS-image
(https://hatari.tuxfamily.org/download.html).
GFA BASIC was chosen as programming language to write a program compatible
to EmuTOS. The game can also be run with hataroid and its built-in
EmuTOS-image. hataroid is available for Android devices.
The .LST file was written with the Windows X editor and merged and
compiled with the programs coming with GBE. GBE ran with the operating
system FreeMint 1.19 and the emulator ARAnyM 1.1.0 and the result was
tested with the ATARI emulator hatari 1.8.0.
You have to destroy the enemies coming from the upper side of
the gamefield in this 2D-game. You move your player object with
mouseclicks and quit the game with the Exit button. You play for ten
minutes and try to get as much points as possible. There is
only one mode for playing the game, which is the diving mode.
The version for computers with JAVA, which must be
downloaded separately,
has got two more shooting modes.
Click on the gamefield to select the position of the player object.
You start with a second click. The player object moves to the
position of the second click. If the player object stops, you can
make it move again with another click. If the player object moves,
it damages the enemies, if it his them. If it doesn't move and
hits an enemy, you get minus points. The enemies with less arrows
drawn on them are easier to eliminate.
If an enemy reaches the bottom of the gamefield, you get one point less
in the result. You can't position the player object
in the outer ten pixels of the gamefield.
