BASE9 ATARI 4.9.2022






This is a game for the ATARI ST mono. It is written in GFA BASIC 3.6. It is not tested on a real machine and it is possible, that it can't be run on it. You can try to run BASE9.PRG or BASE9.GFA in a GFA BASIC interpreter. BASE9.PRG runs with the emulator hatari 1.8.0 and its built-in EmuTOS-image (https://hatari.tuxfamily.org/download.html). BASE9.PRG also runs with Steem v3.2 and the TOS-ROM tos1.02de (http://steem.atari.st). There are also no compatibility problems with the STEmulator from the late 1990s. GFA BASIC was chosen as programming language to write a program compatible to EmuTOS.
There is an error occuring with Steem v3.2 (and not with hatari 1.8.0). The mouseclicks on the upper half of the RESTART and the QUIT button are not processed.

Two players set three cannons on the gamefield. The first player chooses a cannon and enters direction and speed of the shot. He tries to eliminate a base of the other player. Then it's the other players' turn. The player, who first looses three cannons, looses the game. Setting positions and selecting cannons is done with the mouse. The shot parameters are entered as numbers with the keyboard.
